Job summary

Remington seeks a Continuous Improvement Technician to assist CI professionals in kaizen activities, in the Lonoke, Arkansas facility. The role emphasizes lean concepts, problem solving, and clear communication under the Director of Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities include supporting CI shop tasks, print shop duties, and implementing process improvements while collaborating with multiple teams to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of technical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Knowledge of production processes preferred.
• Good problem solving and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic writing and math skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• PC skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in key process improvement assignments, both mechanical and administrative.
• Complete kaizen shop work orders and CI team requests.
• Perform print shop related duties.
• Support implementation of new processes and improve current processes within the facility.
• Measure the performance of improvements.
• Support 5S and kaizen event activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
