Job summary

Precinmac is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive lean initiatives on the shop floor in Tualatin, Oregon. You will lead projects that enhance productivity, quality, and delivery while collaborating with machinists and engineers to deliver measurable results.

You will develop standardized work, coach teams in Lean practices, and manage project timelines, savings, and sustainability. This hands-on role emphasizes action, analysis, and continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Continuous Improvement experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on CNC machining experience, including multi-axis milling/turning.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and CI methodologies.
• Experience leading improvement projects or Kaizen events.
• Data-driven problem solving and process optimization.
• Strong project management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Excellent communication across all levels; proficient in Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects improving productivity, quality, cost, safety, and delivery.
• Identify opportunities with machinists, supervisors, engineers, and leaders.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead Kaizen events from identification to sustainment.
• Develop standardized work and process documentation.
• Coach teams on CI methodologies and problem-solving.
• Track savings, approvals, and sustainability of initiatives.
