Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for our Morristown, TN facility. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in continuous process improvement and hands-on leadership of improvement events using tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, standard work, kanban, and line balancing.

The ideal candidate will mentor teams, possess Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred), and be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Minitab. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSIE or BS and equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Continuous Process Improvement with demonstrated success.
• Experience and capability to mentor others utilizing continuous improvement tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Standard Work, 3S, Pull Systems, 1 piece flow, 8 types of waste, kanban implementation, line balance, OEE, SMED, brainstorming).
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and statistical software packages such as Minitab.
• Technical experience and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in leading continuous improvement events.
• Work independent with little or no supervision.
• Experience in statistical and mathematical analysis.
