Job summary

Greenworks Tools is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer for its Morristown, TN facility. You will develop, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, and optimize manufacturing processes. The role requires Lean Six Sigma knowledge, data-driven problem solving, and ability to lead cross-functional kaizen

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of manufacturing, process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations experience preferred.
Experience in assembly, automotive, consumer products, outdoor power equipment, or high-volume manufacturing preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt a plus.
Ability to lead initiatives and drive measurable improvements.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to influence operational teams with data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

Design, test, implement, and sustain process improvements to boost productivity, quality, and safety.
Evaluate assembly line processes, material flow, and production workflows in manufacturing operations.
Identify bottlenecks, waste, and cost reduction opportunities using data-driven analysis.
Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
Conduct time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and workflow analysis.
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and root cause tools.
Support NPI, manufacturing readiness, equipment changes, and process validation.
Collaborate across Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Management.
