Job summary

You will analyze scrap, yield, and cycle times; facilitate kaizen events; work with Quality, Engineering, and Operations; and implement corrective actions. This role requires a manufacturing background and Lean Six Sigma know-how to translate data into practical improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical discipline such as industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• 2-7 years in continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or process engineering in industrial manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge with structured problem-solving; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Experience using data-analysis tools and systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP/MES).

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a company-wide continuous improvement roadmap to reduce scrap, rework, defects, variation, and costs while improving quality, efficiency, yield, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analyses (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D, Pareto) and corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality and Operations to investigate nonconformances and verify sustained improvements.
• Provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor to validate solutions.
