Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Lean Specialist to support a hyperscale data center construction project in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

This on-site role focuses on implementing Lean strategies, facilitating Last Planner System, and coaching teams across design, procurement, and construction phases. You will train staff and trade partners, coordinate with Project Management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a major Life

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or construction management.
5+ years of experience in the design and / or construction industry with an emphasis in a varied range of complex manufacturing, life science environments, or EPCM projects.
Proficiency in the implementation of Last Planner System® is required; knowledge of 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement activities for Life Science projects located in the U.S.
Train internal staff, vendors and trade partners in lean practices and processes.
Work with Project Management teams to implement strategies for design, procurement, construction and CQV phases.
Assist the team with standing up the Last Planner System® and managing LPS software, plus visual management, 5S, and related lean processes.
