Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Lean Specialist to join our Life Sciences North America team. You will partner with the Director of Lean Implementation to drive Lean and continuous improvement across design, procurement, construction and CQV phases for U.S. Life Science projects.
You will train staff, vendors and trade partners in Last Planner System, 5S and other lean tools, manage LPS software, and support visual management and 5S onsite. Hybrid work policy; travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in design or construction management.
- 5+ years in design/construction with manufacturing/life sciences or EPCM projects.
- Proficiency in Last Planner System; knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement desirable.
- Experience with LPS software and related collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement activities across Life Science projects in North America.
- Train internal staff, vendors, and trade partners in lean methods.
- Facilitate Last Planner System, including training users on the collaboration software.
- Coordinate lean processes with safety, digital delivery, offsite fabrication and IPD.
