Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lean Specialist to lead Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives for Life Sciences North America. You will partner with the Director of Lean Implementation to deploy Last Planner System across design, procurement, construction and CQV phases.

You will train staff and trade partners, manage LPS software, and drive visual management and 5S on projects, with a hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or construction management; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience in the design and / or construction industry with an emphasis in a varied range of complex manufacturing, life science environments, or EPCM projects
• Proficiency in the implementation of Last Planner System® is required; knowledge of 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement activities for Life Science projects located in the U.S.
• Work with Project Management teams to implement strategies for design, procurement, construction and CQV phases
• Stand up the Last Planner System and facilitate its elements, train Jacobs personnel and trade partners
• Support visual management, 5S and other construction lean processes
