Job summary

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG INC is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician Lead to drive efficiency on the shop floor. You will mentor technicians, implement kaizen ideas, and develop standard work instructions to improve quality and throughput.

The role requires strong communication, tooling knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints while coordinating with other departments. Candidates should be comfortable with Creform/SUS/80/20 structures and committed to safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• Experience in an assembly manufacturing operation.
• Mechanical aptitude with tool-handling capability.
• Ability to interpret instructions from multiple formats (written, oral, diagrams).
• Knowledge of Lean principles and data-driven improvements.

• Ability to build and modify structures (Creform, SUS, 80/20).
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately.
• Problem solving and kaizen-oriented mindset.
