Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Production Engineer III to lead continuous improvement of HVAC manufacturing processes, drive cost reductions and support new product introductions. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage capital projects from scope through implementation.

Requires 6–8 years in production/manufacturing engineering in HVAC or related industries, and a Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Systems Engineering background.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing engineering theory, processes, and practice.
• Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and Kaizen.
• Ability to lead DOE, 8D, FMEA, and Six Sigma activities.
• Strong problem-solving with root-cause analysis and cross-functional teamwork.
• Proficient in manufacturing documentation and engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish continuous improvement goals and execute action plans.
• Lead cost reduction, quality, and workflow improvement initiatives.
• Participate in DOE, 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, and DFM analysis.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers on HVAC product and tooling design.
• Develop and manage project schedules for launches and modifications.
• Document designs with cost analysis, drawings, and ECNs.
• Drive CAPEX projects from quotes to authorization and execution.
• Coach junior staff and coordinate cross-functional teams.
