Zusammenfassung

Eaton is seeking a Continuous Improvement Technician for our Camarillo, CA facility. Core hours align to 1st shift (6am–2:30pm). Salary is $25–$30 per hour, with comprehensive benefits starting Day 1, including PTO, parental leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401k match.

The CI Technician will support daily floor operations, collect and analyze data, and partner with manufacturing and engineering to train teams in Lean/CI methods.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of experience in a continuous improvement role.
• Experience practicing Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Aufgaben

• Assist with 5S+ programs across all operational areas; conduct audits, drive corrective actions, and train teams on 5S+ standards.
• Develop, standardize, and maintain visual management systems (production/KPI boards, tier boards, safety, quality, and productivity controls).
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, training, problem-solving using A3, 5 Whys).
• Perform Gemba walks to identify opportunities and sustain standards.
• Partner with supervisors and operators to reinforce CI culture and track metrics.
