The role requires enrolled students in Industrial Engineering or related fields, with reliable transportation and US work authorization. This onsite internship offers exposure to multiple factory departments and weekly management

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field in the United States.
• Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit ability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas and provide project updates.

Responsabilidades

• Leading a hands-on Continuous Improvement project using the DMAIC methodology.
• Conducting time studies and waste evaluations across production lines to identify inefficiencies.
• Applying Lean Manufacturing tools such as: Spaghetti diagrams, Line balancing, 7 Wastes analysis, Kaizen events, 5S audits, Standard work documentation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and exploring departments within the factory to gather insights and drive improvements.
• Preparing and delivering weekly presentations to site management to report progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Engaging in change management by challenging the status quo and implementing sustainable changes with production employees.
• Documenting milestones, data analysis, and implementing solutions to support long-term operational excellence.
