Job summary

You will work onsite, must reside within 50 miles, and manage commuting; the role emphasizes learning, growth, and practical applications of Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering concepts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas and provide updates on progress.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve product yield and reduce scrap.
• Collect and evaluate manufacturing data to support continuous improvement projects.
• Contribute to projects focused on increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving manufacturing performance.
• Seek feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
