Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to supervise the Inspection Center team, overseeing daily operations and driving the reconditioning process. You will mentor leads and associates, manage production planning, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, team development, and cost/objective achievement in a fast-paced environment at Carvana’s inspection centers.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience either in automotive or a lean manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Proven ability to obtain project deliverables and company metrics.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Create a work environment that inspires communication, team cohesion, and Carvana values.
• Lead training and development for leads and associates and ensure staffing levels.
