Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership position.
• Union experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Demonstrated history of driving improvements and measurable results in a production environment.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assembly operations to ensure a safe work environment, quality products, and on-time customer service.
• Meet or exceed shipping goals every month and ship products on time to customer requirements.
• Manage a team of up to 30 indirect reports and promote accountability.
• Promote lean, continuous improvement and waste elimination in all activities.
• Direct improvement activities to support safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
