U.S. Pipe and Foundry in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and develop operations and workforce to meet daily manufacturing goals while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high‑quality operation.

The role emphasizes leadership, production oversight, mechanical support, safety compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration with plant leadership to hit KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in heavy manufacturing or construction.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Engineering degree desired.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Direct hourly production employees to meet daily targets with safety and quality.
• Production Oversight: Manage daily operations, monitor workflows, and implement improvements.
• Mechanical Operations: Support and assist maintenance to optimize equipment and processes.
• Safety and Compliance: Champion safety programs and audits.
• Collaboration: Work with plant leadership to meet KPIs and continuous improvement goals.
