Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking an Assembly Process Engineer in Adairsville, GA to optimize manufacturing assembly operations and drive continuous improvement. You will analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven changes to reduce waste and improve throughput.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize work, train staff, and sustain cost reductions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on assembly processes.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and process improvement techniques.
Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.

Responsibilities

Analyze assembly line data to identify inefficiencies and areas for process improvement.
Design, test, and implement process changes that enhance productivity and product quality.
Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with production teams to develop standardized work instructions and training materials.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to communicate progress and results to management.
Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for assembly-related issues.
Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment on process changes and improvements.
