Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 5+ years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisor/leadership role in manufacturing.
• Able to interpret assembly, tubing flow, and electrical drawings/blueprints.
• Proficiency in reading measuring devices used in assembly.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvement concepts.
• Ability to create process flow diagrams and standard work instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage takt line personnel and supervise assembly activities.
• Communicate with employees and resolve issues as they arise.
• Participate in hiring, training, and development of staff.
• Optimize staffing plans and staffing levels.
• Lead safety, productivity, and quality improvements using Lean methods.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and routings.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, safety and purchasing teams.
• Track attendance, PTO, and disciplinary actions with HR support.
• Meet production goals and communicate scheduling conflicts to planning.
• Investigate design-related problems revealed in assembly and support DFx reviews.
