Job summary

G&W Electric is hiring a Leak Tester to assemble external components on switches, set up and run vacuum and fill processes, and perform leak tests as per specifications. The role includes reclaim if needed, maintaining equipment, and documenting results in quality forms.

The candidate should read drawings, interpret Bills of Material, and communicate with team members across levels. Experience in manufacturing is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required, with basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and Bills of Material preferred.

Responsibilities

• Affix external components on the switch and perform vacuum and fill processes.
• Test for leaks and begin reclaim process if necessary.
• Maintain leak test equipment and set up vacuum and fill processes.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Communicate effectively with others at various levels of the organization.
