Job summary

CED is seeking a Training Manager to deliver and support the Management Training Program (MTP) across our nationwide locations. You will mentor trainees, evaluate performance, and work with company leadership to identify and develop future leaders.

This role requires traveling regularly, fostering a culture of empowerment, service, and reliability consistent with CED's values. As Training Manager, you will ensure consistent training delivery, provide structured feedback, support recruiting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in electrical industry, sales, management, training, recruiting, or mentorship preferred.
• Must have current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Travel 30-35 weeks annually across the United States to support MTP initiatives and leadership meetings.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide timely, clear feedback.
• Build relationships with Division/District, Region, and Profit Center Managers to align training with goals.
• Mentor and coach trainees, and assess performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of training content, policies and procedures.
• Support recruitment activities including college fairs, interviews, and onboarding.
• Coordinate logistics for training and onboarding within assigned districts or divisions.
• Manage payroll, timekeeping, and expense reporting for trainees.
• Lead, facilitate and manage training sessions in line with MTP standards.
• Engage in locally based MTP sessions 8-12 times per year, spanning several days with some evenings.
