Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role offers hands-on experience in fleet, operations and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The starting wage is $33,280 per year ($16.00 per hour). You will learn sales strategies, CRM practices, and financial processes while shadowing management and building team leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and strong computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to multitask.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and eager to grow; punctual and reliable.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver great customer experience.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations, compliance and vehicle preparation.
• Learn finance processes and assist with deal completion; understand metrics.
