Job summary

Cenvar Roofing & Exteriors is seeking a General Manager Trainee in Altoona, PA. This role develops you into an operational leader, partnering with Remote Sales Representatives to drive revenue, manage crews, and deliver exceptional project outcomes.

You will learn the roofing process end-to-end, set performance standards, and contribute to branch success while working in a fast-paced environment. Health, retirement benefits, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

3+ years of management experience in a sales or customer service role.
Strong sales mindset with a focus on customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven dependability and strong work ethic.
Positive, energetic servant-leadership mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid driver’s license with an insurable record.
Background check clean (no felony convictions).
Experience in construction or roofing management preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service to drive new business and brand loyalty.
Manage your sales schedule and partner with Remote Sales Representatives to achieve revenue goals.
Present Cenvar's products, services, and scope of work to potential customers.
Utilize CRM systems to track jobs, maintain documentation, and ensure process compliance.
Schedule and manage jobs for both in-house crews and subcontractors, ensuring top-quality work.
Oversee job sites and crews to ensure safety, efficiency, and protection of customer property.
Monitor project progress and ensure a smooth, high-quality customer experience from start to finish.
Complete administrative tasks including expense reports, payroll, invoicing, and warranty registrations.
Set performance expectations and hold team members accountable to company standards.
Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings.
Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and positivity at all times.
