Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18-24 months. With Sherwin-Williams' promote-from-within philosophy, you will have the opportunity to progress into an Assistant Store Manager position upon successful completion of the initial 8-week training.

This program runs a typical 44 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and involves leadership over a million-dollar store

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree by the start of this development program.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with the established program.
• Support strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build product knowledge to make effective customer recommendations.
• Develop relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and maintain merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Assist with employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
