Job summary

San Diego State University Research Foundation seeks a SACHS/LIA Program Manager to direct the SACHS and LIA programs. You will coordinate virtual and in-person meetings, develop agendas, manage trainers, and support learners through capstone projects.

The role requires expertise in executive leadership development, curriculum sequencing, trainer support, and budget oversight. It includes travel within California and hybrid on-site work with potential program expansion.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or educational technology or related field.
• Six (6) years of experience designing and developing interactive online educational courses.
• Three (3) years of experience supervising or managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct LIA program activities.
• Share evaluation data and participant feedback with LIA trainers.
• Support and liaison with LIA participants to ensure their learning goals are met.
• Collaborate with Academy staff on coordination, administrative support, and research/evaluation.
• Assist LIA participants with capstone projects and Mock Board.
• Develop curriculum topics and ensure accessibility standards for training.
• Develop and monitor program budgets and expenditures.
• Deliver presentations to various audiences.
• Write annual program reports.
• Remain current on health and human services issues and executive development practices.
