Job summary

Wayne State University seeks an Assistant Director, Leadership Programs to design and deliver leadership programs for executives, emerging leaders, and professionals. You will handle needs assessment, curriculum design, and facilitator negotiations while coordinating participant recruitment, logistics, and evaluation.

The role requires strong relationship-building with senior leaders, collaboration with clients, and occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years relevant experience or 5 years in business, education or leadership.
Two years of training and organizational development in corporate or educational settings.
Experience developing and deploying leadership programs for adults.
Experience identifying, negotiating, hiring, and preparing facilitators.
Experience providing developmental feedback and delivering training.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Proven relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and in a team; customer service mindset.
Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and virtual platforms.

Responsibilities
