Job summary

United Way of Central Indiana is seeking a Manager of Leadership Giving to grow philanthropic support and steward a portfolio of 300 leadership-level donors. You will engage, solicit, and nurture donors giving $1,000–$9,999 annually, delivering exceptional donor experiences aligned with our mission.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain accurate records in EmpowerPack (Salesforce), and contribute to strategies that move donors toward major gifts while upholding our values of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; nonprofit management or related fields valued.
• 2-4+ years of successful fundraising with annual gifts $1,000+.
• Experience managing a donor portfolio using moves management or similar.
• CFRE certification preferred; knowledge of Central Indiana appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of 300 individual donors giving $1,000-$9,999 annually.
• Conduct at least 120 meaningful donor interactions annually, prioritizing in-person meetings.
• Support strategic solicitations including leadership, major, and planned gifts.
• Cultivate donor relationships through personalized communication and events.
• Maintain accurate records in EmpowerPack (Salesforce CRM) and engagement plans.
