AAMC seeks a Leadership Development Manager to lead the strategy and implementation of leadership programs for faculty and medical staff. This fully remote position requires a master's degree and a strong background in program management and strategic planning, aiming to enhance leadership capabilities within academic medical centers.

Why us, why now?
The Leadership Development Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, development, and implementation of a suite of leadership programs and offerings in the AAMC leadership development portfolio, and leads the research, scoping and proposal process for new programs and offerings. This position collaborates with team members and other units to establish business development strategies, marketing and communication plans, and learning design and delivery solutions that differentiate the AAMC’s leadership programs as the leading resource of leadership development for its members.
How will you make an impact?
Strategic PlanningEngage actively and contribute as needed to all required and optional organizational meetings, events, and initiatives, including those related to finance, human resources, communications, and facilities. Examples include but are not limited to Town Hall meetings, process and software training sessions, and accurate timekeeping.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position will have 1-2 direct reports, supervise internal cross-cluster project teams and external contractors.
Supervision Received: Works independently with general supervisionContribution Level: Contributing through Others
Decision Making: This position has significant decision making autonomy in decisions about policies, strategy and resources for programs in their portfolio and those of their direct reports. This position’s decisions impacts the leadership development portfolio.
Organizational Impact: This position has significant organizational impact in that it is a very visible position with key interactions with constituents and program faculty. This role is involved in developing and implementing strategy for revenue generating programs.
What you'll bring to the roleRemote Work Eligibility
This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous USCompensation Grade Range
$124,950.00-$147,000.00Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.
If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
