Job summary

Iowa Select Farms is seeking an Employee Relations & Development Manager to build leadership capability and champion a proactive, respectful, high-performing workplace across 55 counties in Iowa. You will coach, train, and partner with 200+ leaders while guiding the Employee Relations team and ensuring effective, compliant people practices.

The role emphasizes preventing issues, guiding complex cases, and developing managers who can navigate people leadership with independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience with employee relations responsibilities.
• Experience coaching leaders through complex workplace situations.
• Experience designing and facilitating leadership or management training.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders through challenging conversations and develop their ability to handle similar situations independently.
• Develop and deliver leadership development programs for 200+ leaders across 55 counties.
• Lead and mentor the Employee Relations team.
• Provide consultation on complex employee relations matters and investigations.
• Travel throughout Iowa to provide on-site coaching and trainings.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to improve employee relations practices and culture.
• Manage performance management processes and HR tools.
