Job summary

NC Department of Transportation seeks a Learning & Leadership Development Director to lead the Pathways program across five leadership levels and to serve as the department's senior advisor on leadership development. The role oversees curriculum currency, facilitation, and the annual cohort cycle, partnering with executives to embed Pathways across divisions.

Based in Wake County with statewide travel; telework of one day per week is possible after the first three months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years of program experience, including two years of managerial experience in public or private sectors.
Experience leading multi-level leadership development programs in a large organization.
Experience facilitating and presenting to executive and senior-leader audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the Learning & Leadership Development function and Pathways Leadership Development Program across five leadership levels.
Supervise four positions and provide leadership for a team of about nine employees.
Direct Learning Operations including LMS, enterprise training calendar, and vendor governance.
Establish service standards and measure impact against Pathways curriculum and statewide offerings.
Partner with executive and division leadership to embed Pathways department-wide.
