Job summary

Wake County Public School System is seeking a Senior Director-Talent Development to oversee teacher and leadership development, performance management, and employee recognition. The role partners with district leadership to analyze retention data and drive improvements across schools.

The position requires advanced education credentials, executive leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple programs, including international faculty exchange and teacher support initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Completion of NCEES training.
• Five years of experience in coaching and mentoring school staff to support improved instruction, culture, and overall school outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor and collaborator on organizational issues and talent management.
• Direct and oversee the performance management team and implement policy/procedure changes.
• Lead development and implementation of district-wide teacher support and evaluation programs.
• Monitor and improve employee retention through data analysis and strategy.
• Collaborate with departments to design district leadership development and professional learning.
• Oversee district-wide exchange programs and employee recognition initiatives.
