JM Test Systems in Baton Rouge, LA, offers a Leadership Development Program for early-career professionals who want real ownership and a clear path to leadership. You will be deployed to the division with the greatest need and take responsibility from diagnosis through stabilization.

Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy, the program can place you in a permanent role with true P&L ownership within 12–18 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–4 years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to defend your analysis.
• Track record of ownership, from implementation through to outcomes.
• Comfort with ambiguity, incomplete information, and shifting priorities; able to build credibility up to the executive level.
• Must relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and be willing to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Own the problem and take ownership from diagnosis through stabilization.
• Diagnose unfamiliar operations quickly and distinguish root causes from symptoms.

In this role, you will be deployed wherever JM Test Systemshas its most important problem: a division that has lost its operating rhythm,an acquisition that needs integrating, or a new service model that needsstanding up. You'll own the outcome, not just the recommendation. Reporting toour VP of Corporate Development & Strategy, the program is designed to moveyou into a permanent role with real P&L ownership or measurable businessimpact within 12 to 18 months, such as division, rental, or lab management, ora corporate manager role in areas like analytics, continuous improvement,FP&A, or supply chain. Placement depends on performance, readiness, andavailable opportunities.

You'll thrive here if you've stayed through implementationbefore, build credibility quickly with people at every level, and are energizedby ambiguity. Calibration experience is valuable but not required. This role isbased in Baton Rouge, and relocation is required.

KeyResponsibilities & Outcomes

• Own theproblem. Deploy to the division, function, or initiative with the greatestneed and take ownership of a defined problem from diagnosis throughstabilization.
• Diagnoseand execute. Assess unfamiliar operations quickly, separate symptoms fromroot causes, set priorities, and carry out the plan you build.
• Leadthrough influence. Lead technicians, supervisors, and functional partnersyou don't manage, and earn their trust fast.
• Drivestrategic initiatives. Own or co-own acquisition integrations, systemimplementations, new locations, or new service models.
• Step upwhen needed. Take on interim or deputy leadership roles when criticalpositions open.
• Makechange stick. Hand off sustainable ownership to the business soimprovements last after you move on.
• Keepleadership informed. Provide clear executive updates on progress, risks,decisions, and results, and grow through regular development and readinessreviews.

WhatYou Bring

• Required:Bachelor's degree and 1–4 years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Required:Strong analytical skills. You can build an analysis independently anddefend it.
• Required:A track record of ownership, staying through implementation rather thanstopping at the recommendation.
• Required:Comfort with ambiguity, incomplete information, and shifting priorities,and the ability to build credibility from the floor to the executive team.
• Required:Must relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and be willing to travelextensively.
• Preferred:Experience as an investment banking or private equity analyst, a strategyor management consulting associate, in a rotational leadership program, or inoperations or industrial-service leadership.
• Preferred:Exposure to industrial services, manufacturing, field services, or anothercomplex operating environment.

Travel & Relocation

Travel is a defining part of this role. Please be preparedfor:

• Required relocation to the Baton Rouge area
• Frequent travel to JM Test Systems locations andcustomer sites, including multi-week and occasionally multi-month assignments
• Regular time in calibration labs, customerfacilities, and field and industrial environments
