Job summary

UN Secretariat seeks a Staff Development Officer to design and implement leadership development and learning programs for Resident Coordinators and related personnel. Role emphasizes UN 2.0 capabilities, including data, digital, innovation, and behavioral science, with expert guidance on learning methodologies.

You will develop resources, coordinate with partners, and assess program effectiveness to enhance leadership across the RC system, contributing to organizational change efforts.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in learning and development.
• Experience delivering learning for senior UN leaders or international organizations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate leadership development and learning programs for Resident Coordinators and talent pools.
• Create face-to-face, virtual, and blended learning using adult learning methodologies.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver programs and resources.
• Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis and reporting and contribute to organizational change assessments.
