Job summary

Bombardier Wichita is seeking a Leader, Quality to head the supplier quality management function on the production floor. You will drive the daily priorities, align with operations, and deploy proactive and reactive containment strategies to minimize supplier-related disruptions.

Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will mentor analysts, ensure product conformity, and advance continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field (engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in Quality or Supplier Quality.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO).
• Experience with CAPA processes and cost of poor quality (COPQ).
• Familiarity with supplier audits and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Completion Supplier Quality Management teams and align with business priorities.
• Drive daily execution and maintain a long-term improvement roadmap.
• Supervise and support the team as liaison between supplier corrective action and operations.
• Deploy containment strategies to reduce supplier quality issues and disruptions.
• Coach team in data gathering, problem definition, and executive presentations.
• Represent Quality in key forums to drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve issues and deploy containment plans.
