Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a skilled Job Inspector, Quality at the Wichita Service/Completion Center. You will perform critical airworthiness inspections, Return to Service actions, and regulatory paperwork to ensure safe, compliant aircraft operations.

Strong reading of maintenance manuals and English proficiency are required. You will mentor technicians, participate in audits, and support conformity inspections while collaborating with the repair station leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years aircraft maintenance experience.
• 1 year corporate/commercial jet experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform Return to Service process and approve aircraft for return to service in accordance with applicable regulations as authorized and delegated by the repair station accountable manager.
• Perform walk around inspection of aircraft for release of maintenance.
• Conduct aircraft weight and balance procedure in accordance with manufacturer’s data as delegated by the repair station accountable manager.
• Ensure all regulatory paperwork (FAA, FAR/CAA, etc) is complete and approvals obtained.
• Conduct aircraft flight control balancing per manufacturer’s data as delegated by the FAA.
• Train, coach and mentor technicians and other inspectors in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification.
• Assist with research activities.
• Perform conformity inspections as delegated by the repair station accountable manager.
• Conduct Internal Procedural Audits.
