Job summary

Buckle is hiring a Leader in Training and Floor Leader to support daily store operations and drive guest experience at our on-site Modesto location. You will engage in sales, merchandising, cashiering, and routine facility upkeep under guidance from the Store Manager and Leadership Team.

This role focuses on developing leadership skills, assisting with sales goals, recruiting teammates, and maintaining visual standards to ensure an enjoyable shopping environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate teammates.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill store operations and sales tasks as assigned by management (cashiering, merchandising, displays, registers, cleaning).
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to drive sales and recruit new teammates.
• Lead by example as Leader in Training and Floor Leader to support team performance.

Summary

The Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader position’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement: “To create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” The LIT and Floor Leader performs a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g. cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities). Works directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates and provide leadership.

Pay range: $17-$21/hr
