Job description

Leader in Training

As core members of the restaurant leadership team, Directors in Training typically oversee specific areas of the restaurant business like Operations, Training, Human Resources, and more. A Director oversees a department within the business and is responsible and accountable for business results in that department.

Responsibilities
  • Fully own area processes, results, and staffing
  • Work with the Director Team to set strategy for operational systems and processes
  • Develop strong leaders in the restaurant
  • Lead the team toward accomplishing performance metrics
  • Ensure proper management and documentation of all area systems and guidelines
  • Drive brand standards for Food Quality, Safety, Guest Experience, and all other performance metrics
  • Explore and implement new ways to improve operations
  • Create a positive restaurant environment for the guests and team
  • Allocate daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Analyze and effect business results: CEM, Food Cost, Labor Cost, Net Profit
  • Prepare the restaurant and team for all 3rd Party Audits
  • Anticipate and solve long-term issues of throughput and systems
  • Support fellow leaders with coverage for time off
  • Attend regular leadership meetings
  • Participate in all team building events
  • All other tasks as assigned
