Job summary

Parloa is seeking a Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a high-impact team of FDEs delivering enterprise AI deployments. You will ensure delivery excellence, guide architectures, and unblock complex deployments in enterprise environments.

You will own capacity planning, staffing, and delivery visibility while partnering with customer teams to build trust and translate field learnings into product improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, systems integration, DevOps, or data engineering with production responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineers (management, team lead, coaching, hiring, performance growth).
• Enterprise delivery track record delivering complex projects in large environments with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Field Deployment Engineers; hire, coach, and set expectations.
• Own capacity planning, staffing across parallel projects, and early bottleneck detection.
• Oversee engineering delivery across deployments: milestones, dependencies, risk, escalation, stakeholder alignment.
• Establish time tracking and delivery visibility while avoiding bureaucracy.
• Provide technical leadership and escalation support; review designs and unblock high-severity issues.
