Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Lead Guide to build and coach high-performing Guides across campuses, including Raleigh, NC. This full-time role focuses on coaching, life-skills workshops, and driving student progress beyond traditional teaching.

You will help shape culture, uphold uncompromising standards, and contribute to new campus launches. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in education or leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and a track record of data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring decisions.
• Proven success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or coaching settings.
• Willingness to work on-site and help open a new campus from zero.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's high standards.
• Leading life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
