Job summary

ACH Child and Family Services seeks a Lead Youth Care Specialist to provide direct care, youth behavior support, and daily routines on the floor, serving as the on-shift leader. You will model trauma-informed practices and oversee staff to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of direct care experience, one year in TBRI or similar models, and a valid Texas driver’s license; travel with clients may be required. Fort Worth, TX location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct care experience required.
• One year experience in TBRI or other similar models of care preferred.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be willing to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift point person, coordinating staff assignments and supervision needs.
• Ensure staff follow routines, treatment guidelines, and care plans.
• Monitor housekeeping to maintain a trauma-informed environment.
• Lead shift change meetings in absence of Shift Supervisor.
• Communicate shift concerns and safety updates promptly.
• Complete program paperwork and documentation.
