Job summary

Wrench ‘N Go is seeking a Yard Supervisor in Des Moines, IA to lead a team of 6–7 vehicle de-manufacturing employees, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in the recycling process. You will coordinate maintenance, operations, and adherence to environmental guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to make quick decisions, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather. Prior retail or auto parts experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or auto parts experience is advantageous.
• Must have math skills and POS proficiency.
• Ability to multitask with in-person and phone customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manages vehicle de-manufacturing operations and supervises 6–7 employees.
• Oversees safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Maintains equipment records and metrics for the de-manufacturing process.
• Loads and unloads cars onto de-manufacturing racks when needed.
• Ensures vehicles are drained of fluids and recycled properly.
• Performs or coordinates routine maintenance on machinery.
• Works outside in variable weather and assists in de-manufacturing.
