Job summary

General Dynamics Bath Iron Works is seeking a Process Coordinator Lead Yard Services Procurement to support DDG51 CSE changes. The role emphasizes strict schedule adherence, cross-department coordination, and clear stakeholder communication to drive on-time procurement changes.

You will maintain documentation, track progress, and escalate risks while coordinating with Engineering, Navy, and suppliers to keep programs on schedule and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, project coordination/management.
• Strong understanding of schedule management, workflow tracking, and crossdepartment coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate with engineering, planning, and production teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including status reporting to leadership and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule adherence for DDG51 Class Standard Equipment (CSE) changes and ensure updates and dependencies stay on track.
• Communicate with Engineering, Program Office, Navy, and Suppliers to progress changes to schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation including process guides, vendor records, change status logs, and contract tracking materials.
• Monitor and escalate schedule risks, changes, or delays to leadership to maintain alignment.
• Serve as central point of contact for change status inquiries and guidance.
• Assist buyers by facilitating communication and gathering details from other departments.
• Develop and administer KPIs related to CSE change management and provide status updates.
