Job summary

General Dynamics Bath Iron Works is seeking a Process Coordinator - Lead Yard Services Procurement to support DDG51 CSE changes and continuous improvement of procurement processes. You will ensure strong schedule adherence and coordinate with Engineering, the Navy, and Suppliers to keep work on track.

The role requires experience in procurement, supply chain, and project coordination, with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, project coordination/management.
• Strong understanding of schedule management and cross‑department coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate with engineering, planning, and production teams.
• Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, scheduling tools, ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule adherence for DDG51 Class Standard Equipment (CSE) changes and ensure updates, actions, and dependencies stay on track.
• Communicate with Engineering, Program Office, the Navy, and Suppliers to progress changes on schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation including process guides, vendor records, change status logs, and contract tracking materials.
• Develop and administer KPIs related to CSE change management; prepare status updates and metrics.
• Coordinate audits, reviews, or compliance checks related to procurement processes and prepare necessary supporting documentation.
