Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, project coordination/management.
• Strong understanding of schedule management, workflow tracking, and cross-department coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively with engineering, planning, and production teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow structured processes, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including status reporting to leadership and external customers.
• Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, SharePoint, scheduling tools, ERP/MRP systems, etc.).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Yellow Belt (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule adherence for DDG51 Class Standard Equipment (CSE) changes, ensuring updates, actions, and dependencies stay on track.
• Communicate with internal departments including Engineering and Program Office, the Navy, and Suppliers to progress changes on schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including process guides, vendor records, change status logs, and contract tracking materials.
• Monitor and elevate schedule risks, changes, or delays to leadership to prevent disruption.
• Coordinate audits, reviews, or compliance checks related to procurement processes and prepare supporting documentation.
