Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ with a hybrid schedule after training. The role leads a 4–5 member claims team for a municipal account, focusing on investigation, adjustment, and strategic direction to ensure client satisfaction and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience.
• Prior supervisory or people-lead experience within Workers’ Compensation.
• Strong understanding of Arizona Workers’ Compensation regulations, claim practices, and compliance requirements.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license in Arizona.
• Effective communication with adjusters, clients, and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Review, assign and supervise all claim activity to ensure compliance with standards and client handling instructions.
• Investigate, evaluate and adjust assigned claims following established standards and laws.
• Reserve establishment and oversight for designated claims within authority levels.
• Oversee medical, legal, damage estimates and invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize payments and settlements within policy and client guidelines.
• Direct handling of designated litigated and complex claims.
• Provide education and development for claim staff.
• Supervise claim activity for designated accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Handling Standards and client instructions.
