Job summary

Kindred Resource Group is looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner in Phoenix, Arizona. This hybrid role requires managing complex WC claims from injury report to resolution.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience with strong knowledge of Arizona WC statutes, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in claims management systems. A comprehensive benefits package and professional development support are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of workers' compensation claims handling experience required.
• Arizona workers' compensation knowledge strongly preferred.
• Experience with claims management systems and diary platforms.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage workers' compensation claims from first report to closure.
• Calculate and issue indemnity payments, maintain reserve levels.
• Coordinate medical treatment and manage return-to-work processes.
• Negotiate claim settlements within authority guidelines.
• Prepare claim files for audits.

Skills

Technical knowledge of Arizona workers' compensation statutes and regulations

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skilled negotiator with experience in claim settlement

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Active Arizona adjuster license
