Job summary

CCMSI, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a complex portfolio for a single client account. The role requires hands-on WC claims experience (5+ years) and active state licensing, with a path toward advanced claims positions.

The successful candidate will investigate, set reserves, coordinate with medical providers and attorneys, and deliver a high-touch, compliant claims experience. Hybrid schedule after training is provided.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
• Experience in multiple states is a bonus.
• Arizona adjuster license or home license is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and manage workers’ compensation claims in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
• Establish reserves, authorize payments, and negotiate settlements within authority levels.
• Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, case managers, and other vendors to drive claim resolution.
• Monitor claim progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide timely claim status reports.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities when appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and other stakeholders throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Handle complex claims with minimal supervision while maintaining compliance with client-specific handling instructions and corporate standards.
• Participate in claim reviews, hearings, mediations, training sessions, and client meetings as needed.

Five+ years WC claims experience

Multi-state experience

Spanish bilingual (preferred)

MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education

Arizona adjuster license or home license

Bachelor’s degree preferred
