Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior technical leader to guide the DET IT Finance Engineering team. You will drive architecture, design, and delivery of Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and MuleSoft integrations across enterprise platforms.

You'll mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers and stakeholders, and advocate for AI/automation adoption while upholding security and scalability in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, with 7+ years in Workday Financials/Accounting Center
• Technical leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems
• Experience with Workday integrations using APIs, Connectors, and automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders through architecture discussions and technical strategy

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, high-performing Workday Financial solutions and integrations
• Oversee Workday Financial solution and integrations with external systems (Salesforce, Vertex, MuleSoft, etc.) ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs aligned with enterprise architecture
• Ensure coding standards, security, and performance optimization
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and technical decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Drive innovation and adoption of AI/automation within finance integrations
• Champion continuous learning and engineering excellence across related teams
• Evolve frameworks and tools to scale for growth
