Job summary

CTG is seeking a Workday Solution Architect for an ongoing contract in Hercules, CA. You will lead feasibility assessments for migrating from SAP SuccessFactors to Workday, evaluate HR tech landscapes, and develop future-state architecture with integration strategies.

You will drive data migration, security, and governance, and present executive-ready analyses and roadmaps. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in HRIS/HR tech with 5+ years in Workday architecture, global deployments, and strong

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, enterprise applications, or digital transformation.
• 5+ years of Workday solution architecture experience.
• Global, multi-country Workday HCM implementations, transformations, or migrations.
• Experience migrating from SAP SuccessFactors to Workday or similar HR platform migrations.
• Experience integrating HR platforms with payroll, time/attendance, recruiting, onboarding, and other enterprise apps.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and validated-system requirements, e.g., 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level feasibility assessments for migrating from SAP SuccessFactors to Workday.
• Assess HR technology landscape, including SuccessFactors modules, integrations, and data architecture.
• Conduct functional fit-gap analyses between SuccessFactors and Workday HCM modules.
• Develop future-state architecture options with integration patterns and dependencies.
• Define target integration strategies using Workday tools, middleware, and APIs.
• Develop data migration and governance strategies for employee data and historical records.
• Evaluate security, privacy, GDPR, data residency, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
• Create phased transformation roadmap and governance strategies.
• Present recommendations and ROI to HR, IT, Finance, and executives.
• Provide technical leadership to HRIS teams, integrators, and vendors.
