Mercer is seeking a Lead Consultant, Workday Advanced Compensation to join our Digital Transformation team. This role targets an experienced Workday implementation consultant who can lead complex compensation workstreams and guide clients with confidence.
You will combine hands-on delivery leadership with solution design, stakeholder management, and practice enablement across Workday HCM, Payroll, and Finance to deliver scalable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation certifications.
- 5+ years as a certified Workday consultant.
- 3+ years leading Workday Advanced Compensation implementations.
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, security, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage clients and drive delivery across workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Workday Advanced Compensation workstream for implementations.
- Gather requirements and design scalable compensation solutions.
- Serve as SME on Advanced Compensation configurations and issues.
- Maintain forecasts, delivery plans, timelines, and risk communication.
- Collaborate with other leads to ensure end-to-end client experience.
- Support demos, solution architecture discussions, and scoping.
- Develop enablement content and best-practice materials for the team.
