VIIRL Marketing in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Website Developer to own the web development function. Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, and VPS server management is essential as you lead development discussions and drive projects end-to-end.

You will build custom WordPress features, manage VPS hosting, and collaborate with marketing, design, and paid media teams to deliver secure, high-performance websites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in PHP and WordPress development.
• Proven experience with custom WordPress development including themes/plugins.
• Experience managing VPS servers (GoDaddy, AWS, or similar).
• Knowledge of website security best practices (SSL, firewalls, malware prevention).
• Familiarity with SEO principles, Core Web Vitals and performance optimization.
• Experience with API integrations and custom post types in WordPress.
• Ability to troubleshoot WordPress, PHP and hosting issues quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently yet with a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
